10 Huge Signings WWE Must Make In 2021

4. Carlito

Why Carlito missed his scheduled appearance as part of the recent Legends Night remains to be seen, but another run for the former United States Champion in WWE has been a huge talking point as it pertains to WWE returns. Carlito's sole appearance for the promotion after leaving in 2010 was to induct his father into the 2014 Hall of Fame class.

At 41-years-old, Carlito still has a good few years left in him. It would be a shame for him to waste this on a platform that won't be seen by as many fans as possible - WWE is the only viable option for him.

When he was announced to be part of Legends Night, fans were, quite rightly so, excited to see the former Intercontinental Champion back. Finally, we thought, we're getting another Carlito stint in WWE. He never really gets the respect he deserves, which is a massive shame considering he was one of the genuinely greatest wrestlers from the middle of the Ruthless Aggression era, from an in-ring standpoint anyway.

WWE have had decent results with bringing back talents from the 2000s. Between MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, John Morrison, Mickie James, Rey Mysterio, and others, Carlito would be no exception to this rule.
