10 Huge Signings WWE Must Make In 2021
3. James Storm
Now, if his interview with Ryan Satin is to be believed, James Storm was set to have his first full-time run with WWE post-WrestleMania 36. Obviously, the ongoing health crisis put a halt to this, but 'The Cowboy' coming to WWE shouldn't be ruled out.
First off, Storm can still go in the ring. It sometimes feels as if Storm should be far older than 43-years-old given how long he's been doing this, but as his recent two matches in Impact Wrestling proved, he's still more than capable between the ropes. Secondly, when he did make sporadic appearances in NXT in late-2015, fans were ecstatic to see Storm finally get his big break.
What's interesting is that Storm claims the plans were postponed, rather than outright cancelled. This indicates Storm will eventually find his way to WWE eventually.
The TNA original was most recently signed to NWA, where he spent time as a World Tag Team Champion with Eli Drake. Should he come to WWE, it would come as a delight to Robert Roode, Storm's old Beer Money partner. Roode's pairing with Dolph Ziggler is helping nobody. A reformation of Beer Money, however?
Maybe, just maybe, it's the thing that could save Robert's WWE career, as well as finally getting James Storm his much-deserved WWE contract.
