10 Huge Signings WWE Must Make In 2021

2. Tessa Blanchard

The official arrival of Tessa Blanchard in WWE has seemed inevitable since she was released from Impact Wrestling at the end of June. Although it's yet to happen, it almost certainly will.

Despite her controversy from January 2020, Tessa is one of the greatest in-ring workers of her time. She's established herself wherever she's gone, and made herself known in Impact for being a bit of a history-maker. Being the first female World Champion isn't something that should be looked over just because of the nature her reign ended in.

Of course, she's no stranger to WWE after she participated in the inaugural Mae Young Classic in 2017, and has also spent time as an NXT enhancement talent. It's worth pointing out that Tessa also has ties to AEW - she appeared on All In, the show that started it all, and her father, Tully Blanchard, seems to be making a new Four Horsemen-esque stable with Shawn Spears and FTR.

She needs to go to WWE, though.

AEW's women's division needs improvement before they can take on someone like Tessa Blanchard. At only 25-years-old, there's still plenty of time for Tessa to do both before she retires. For now, WWE is the answer for "where does Tessa go next?".
