10 HUGE WWE Backlash 2020 Predictions You Need To Know

Greatest Wrestling Match Ever

Be the most excited about this match on the card, if you can summon any joy for the show whatsoever.

SmackDown's women's roster may not be as deep as NXT's, but the blue brand has been flinging open opportunities of late as if we were still the heady era of Tuesdays in 2016. Bayley and Sasha Banks have been a riot on the show, advancing their own simmering break-up whilst protecting the former 'Hugger's Women's Championship at all costs and now toppling Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross for their second swing with the doubles titles.

The babyfaces want them back, but The IIconics are a shrewd addition to the rematch. Their snaring of these very belts just over a year split Banks and Bayley apart in ways that are still being felt today, and would surely do again if they repeated the feat. The winners will also take the straps to Wednesday's NXT to take on Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart, suggesting that it has to go the way of at least one of the heel teams.

Here's to The IIconics repeating history to yet again inform the demise of the union between Banks and Bayley. At least time, it can be for the betterment of their respective careers.
