10 HUGE WWE Clash Of Champions 2020 Predictions You Need To Know

1. Roman Reigns (c) Vs. Jey Uso

The most thrilling of the three (!) matches on this main card that isn't a rematch of another recent offering, Jey Uso's challenge of Roman Reigns' Universal Title is an inch-perfect first defence for the new Champion in this very new role.

Uso is not a stupid man, and knows enough from their recent interactions that something has changed in the pair's relationship. But a failure to gain hard evidence of that in the weeks leading up to their organically established pay-per-view match (this was written before the go-home edition of SmackDown) has resulted in some painfully uncomfortable moments between the two.

The story has been locked in the cold stare of 'The Big Dog' from the moment he became Champion. Paul Heyman has alluded to Reigns saving him during a difficult period post-WrestleMania, subverting his typical relationship with Brock Lesnar. Reigns is a different sort of beast, and one that looks as if he didn't expect to be awoken by a family member politely coming for the thing he covets.

The tipping point between banger and brutal beatdown should be fascinating to look out for. When Roman goes up a gear, Uso is is done for, but just how cruel will the Champion get as he reveals his darkest side yet? Enough to carry the programme to a Cell in October, or just for Uso to be carted off in the same ambulance used elsewhere on the card?

Be afraid. Be the best kind of afraid.
