So far Edge has made the most of his second run/chance in wrestling, putting in an impressive 25 minutes of ring time after 9 years away at Royal Rumble (2020), somehow living up to some lofty expectations in his match with Randy Orton at Backlash (after it was labelled ‘The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever’ weeks before it took place) and main eventing WrestleMania 37 in a thrilling triple threat with two of the best to ever do it Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan.

Edge’s return from an injury everyone thought was impossible to return from inspired his tag partner and best friend Christian to take the plunge back into the wrestling business. Christian worked hard to get back into shape and medically cleared after suffering numerous concussion issues.

Christian returned one year after Edge at the same event Royal Rumble and looked better than ever, emotionally hugging Edge at one point in the match in disbelief they were both back doing what they love. Christian’s commented on how Edge helped him when he decided to come back: “He was one of the very few people that knew the work I was putting in. I told him what I was thinking, and he was very supportive because it had been taken away from him as well.”
