10 HUGE WWE Hell In A Cell 2017 Predictions You Need To Know

9. Last Battle Of Michigan

Released only this year to salivating longtime wrestling fans, the 'Last Battle Of Atlanta' was a 1983 Georgia Championship Wrestling contest between Tommy Rich and Buzz Sawyer that drew feverish acclaim from those that saw it from the time, and many others with implanted memories thanks to photographs and anecdotes from the war.

Building in reputation as the years passed, the bout was thought to be lost thanks to WCW's notoriously poor treatment of their archive footage. That was until 2016, when a tape labelled 'Omni Live Events' was transferred by WWE's crack team, revealing to awestruck staff a pristine copy of the contest.

Truthfully, it's a primitive if primitive affair. But it does feature a mesh steel cage with a roof, and allegedly inspired Shawn Michaels to suggest such a thing for the inaugural Hell In A Cell match against The Undertaker. Reputation alone made the match almost impossibly tasked with living up to expectations, and it's a trouble The New Day and The Usos may share in this Sunday.

The talented quintet have assembled the WWE series of the year on match quality alone. That the promos have delivered alongside the action bell-to-bell is just another credit to the performers, but stacks audience expectation as high as the Cell itself.

Regardless of who wins the match, the contest itself could and should be the company's 2017 Match Of The Year. No pressure.
