Elias having a meaningful feud he might not actually lose feels long overdue, even if the former 'Drifter' still can't stir a crowd the second his guitar goes down.

In Seth Rollins, he'll share the ring with a Raw performer as over as he is - a rare treat in 2018 - and a solid all-rounder experiencing something of a second summer since going the distance in a memorable marathon Gauntlet match earlier this year. The Intercontinental Champion stole the sh*ttiest of shows with The Miz at Backlash, and could potentially do the same here if he's as proficient with Elias as he is at drawing a "Burn It Down" chant just by stomping his foot.

Does it even behoove Rollins to have the secondary strap at the moment? He's been mooted as the only credible contender to Brock Lesnar, so he might as well get shot of the literal white elephant draped over his shoulder. And few deserve that more than his tuneless challenger.
