10 HUGE WWE Money In The Bank 2018 Predictions You Need To Know

5. There When The Money Runs Out

Carmella Asuka
WWE

Those that optimistically believed Asuka's streak ending at WrestleMania was for a mythical greater good can already shut the f*ck up about the company's long-term planning.

'The Empress Of Tomorrow' couldn't absorb the loss any more than than any of the other losers on the main roster - it turned out she was just one in disguise all along. After dropping a tag match on SmackDown Live! and having her legitimacy repeatedly questioned by the new Women's Champion (and woman that beat the woman that ended her streak) Asuka's stock couldn't be any lower.

The SmackDown Live! Women's Title is at this point the last thing she could grab hold of to keep from drowning on the blue brand, particularly with the shift in the division's attentions from action to aggro with the rising profiles of The Iiconics and Lana in recent weeks. With those setting the bar for promos and Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair light things up between the ropes, where on earth does this leave the former NXT megastar if she can't take the title home?
