10 HUGE WWE NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver Predictions You Need To Know

5. Ember Moon & Shotzi Blackheart (c) Vs. The Way

From the sublime to the slightly ridiculous, NXT's talent-rich women's division was owed more exposure than to just be given its own set of tag team titles despite the originals coming with the tri-brand caveat.

What was once the undisputed jewel in the black-and-gold brand's crown has become dislodged of late. Women should have more than just belts to fight over, but NXT took the path of least resistance by introducing these long before the league was fully stuffed with convincing double acts. To this end, we get Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart defending their belts against the only team that hasn't lost repeatedly or been undone by a thousand-year-old dragon ghost.

The creative direction hasn't exactly done them all dirty, but it's not the cleanest build either. Candice LeRae and Blackheart in particular have been on opposing sides so often (including two prior TakeOvers), that this never stood a chance of feeling fresh, and the Champions haven't held the gold long enough for the reign to become prestigious. The workers will deserve all the credit if this ends up over-delivering, but don't expect any upheaval from such a flimsy angle.

Winners - Ember Moon & Shotzi Blackheart
