10 HUGE WWE NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver Predictions You Need To Know

3. Jordan Devlin Vs. Santos Escobar

Santos Escobar Jordan Devlin
WWE

Eesh.

Jordan Devlin was named in the Speaking Out allegations and has returned to both NXT and NXT UK without WWE going to the trouble of laying out exactly what investigative procedures were followed. If we as a fanbase choose not to lead with talking points such as these, we are affording the industry as a whole the opportunity to undermine the immense bravery of all the brave survivors that came forward last year.

If you're able to park all that and emotionally invest in this match, consider if NXT has made a fatal error in referencing the past in the build-up. It was cute to have Shawn Michaels slide a ladder in to the ring to solve a problem of two belts. Much of his singles fame is informed by that stone cold WrestleMania X classic with Razor Ramon, but can Devlin and Santos Escobar possibly live up to that?

Can they f*ck.

Got a bad feeling about this, but here's hoping the person who's gone over literally every cruiserweight they have for the last eight months doesn't stumble at the final hurdle here.

Winner - Santos Escobar
