10 HUGE WWE Royal Rumble 2019 Predictions You Need To Know

1. Demon Days

Finn Bálor assured audiences that he wouldn't be 'The Demon' for his match against Brock Lesnar, but no such comments were made about him bringing back his inner beast for the Royal Rumble.

And why would there be? Bálor should have enough self-belief to think he can actually best Brock, but when he fails to do that early in the show, it'll be back into the dressing room to get into character all over again.

There's recent precedent for a losing contender appearing later in the evening, and Finn could mirror Roman Reigns' #30 drawing from 2017 and go one further than 'The Big Dog'. Having come within touching distance of "his" Universal Title following a narrow defeat, Finn could re-emerge and retain his creation's undefeated streak by winning the battle royal to get another crack at 'The Beast'.

Brock's WrestleMania legacy starts and ends with his still-shocking win over The Undertaker in 2014. WWE could promote, five years on, his intent to break even more hearts at the 'Show Of Shows'. This sort of push - not least for somebody like Finn Bálor - doesn't happen enough now, but could begin in earnest on one of the biggest nights of the year.
