10 HUGE WWE Royal Rumble 2021 Predictions You Need To Know

Here Comes The Pain.

Brock Lesnar entering and possibly even winning the Royal Rumble is not a cruel trick on the midcard akin to his Money In The Bank 2019 run-in, or his squash wins over Seth Rollins and Kofi Kingston later that year. This is, if you'll pardon the wedged-in wordplay, a different Beast.

Lesnar winning obviously adds enormous and immediate heft to WrestleMania, regardless of which title he elects to fight for. There's the rematch he'll surely want with Drew McIntyre should the 'Scottish Warrior' keep hold of the WWE Championship. There's the potential of yet another end-of-the-world brawl with Goldberg if he doesn't. And then, there's SmackDown.

Brock Lesnar Vs Roman Reigns is more mouthwatering than it's ever been before. The pair could realistically wage war at WrestleMania for the third time, but this may at long last be the even-handed battle of the behemoths Vince McMahon has always desperately desired. And what of the walrus in the room? Paul Heyman could side with him as a red brand wrestler, but what on earth would he do if his two monolithic clients came to blows. Would he pick a side, and moreover, would he pick a different side nearly 20 years after he did the last time?

This isn't just a choice. It increasingly feels like the only one.
