10 HUGE WWE Royal Rumble 2021 Predictions You Need To Know

2. Men's Royal Rumble

Strange year for the titular battle royal.

There exists at present an awful lot of potential winners, but not really in the way that WWE has lined up an actual Number One Contender.

On Raw, AJ Styles, Randy Orton and Bobby Lashley are probably the pick of the main event bunch. Meanwhile, Mustafa Ali will have Retribution to help him, and Edge became an immediate favourite by virtue of his entry announcement on the go-home show. They all have chances apart from 'The Apex Predator', who's going to get set on fire by The Fiend or some absolute f*cking sh*t.

Meanwhile, on the fairly well-regarded SmackDown side of things, a list of sentimental favourites muddies the water. Big E. Cesaro, Shinsuke Nakamura, Daniel Bryan and potential surprise returnee Seth Rollins could and probably should do well. All of them have huge underdog potential not just in the battle royal, but against Roman Reigns himself on WWE's grandest stage.

The aforementioned NXT lot could make an impact, but the women's contest feels like the likely location for a main roster earthquake. Without any proper top contenders, it seems easy to lean on a victory for either Edge, perpetual underdog Bryan, or Rollins.

And if not one of them, who?
