10 HUGE WWE Royal Rumble 2021 Predictions You Need To Know

3. Women's Royal Rumble

Theoretically quite easy to call, but could that be the problem?

The aforementioned Rhea Ripley redemption story is a simple and gratifying story to tell, and if they choose not to, Bianca Belair as there as an ultra-talented Champion-in-waiting. Both favourites, which could ultimately skew WWE's faith in either of them as stupid as that sounds.

Ronda Rousey is back under the bookies' spotlight for some reason, and Melina has been gradually reintroduced to WWE lore in recent months, so both would make good surprises and - in the case of the 'Baddest Woman On The Planet' anyway - potential winners. It doesn't feel like Shayna Baszler's year, which is precisely why she could end the night pointing at the sign. Lana going all the way to WrestleMania on the literal opposite of momentum is perhaps a bridge too far. Bayley Vs Sasha Banks on the 'Show Of Shows' is appealing, but feels done for longer than a few months.

These are long ways around not just doing the brilliant and blindly obvious. They'd make an electrifying (...at home) final two, too.

Winner - Rhea Ripley
