10 HUGE WWE Royal Rumble 2021 Predictions You Need To Know

4. NXT Surprises

Royal Rumble
WWE

NXT has contributed much to recent Royal Rumbles, and became woven into the WrestleMania build last year when Charlotte Flair to challenge for the black-and-gold brand's still-prestigious Women's Championship at the 'Show Of Shows'.

Rhea Ripley was the rather unfortunate victim of that futile experiment, and spent the rest of the year trying and failing to gain her momentum back. Metrics support a great deal of audience approval for Ripley, and there's a terrific story about her second attempt at a Raymond James Stadium WrestleMania moment after the global bastard robbed her of it before 'The Queen' took the title too.

Elsewhere on Wednesday nights, Damian Priest and Cameron Grimes have been suspiciously quiet, and had both his something of a ceiling there anyway. Dexter Lumis is the sort of daft sh*te that would work better on the main roster anyway, and Bronson Reed could make more of an impact in the Rumble than he does in the Capitol Wrestling Center.

A mixed bag on paper then, but judge the wrestlers by their actions rather than these words. The women's Rumbles in 2019 and 2020 were dominated by NXT's magnificent division.
