10 HUGE WWE Royal Rumble 2022 Predictions You Need To Know

9. Becky Lynch (c) Vs. Doudrop

A perfect Royal Rumble undercard Championship match from the era when WWE could still competently book for the short and medium term, Becky Lynch faces a credible threat-for-the-night in Doudrop, with the test for both being if they can convince the live crowd that a title match is in the offing.

The set up has subsequently been more perfunctory than outright good, but that might be enough. Becky Lynch is currently on the best in-ring run of her WWE career, and Doudrop's size, strength and charisma has already offered an added dimension to a programme with Bianca Belair that was decent enough to make folk forget about her debut summer with Eva Marie.

That, of course, was a programme she lost, which undermines her challenge in that way WWE don't realise/want you to forget. For entirely different reasons, Doudrop is as much a challenge to Lynch's title as Liv Morgan was. Maybe for one day, but not for right now.

Winner - Becky Lynch
