10 Huge WWE Stars In Danger Of Missing WrestleMania 35

5. Drew McIntyre

How on earth have they mismanaged a human open goal like Drew McIntyre. His return was well pitched, the pairing with Dolph gave you a natural storyline to segue out from and, well, I mean look at him, he is everything Vince McMahon wants in a lover wrestler.

Yet following that weird programme against the Shield, and losing to Balor, he’s not really had a win that’s done anything for him since Survivor Series. In fact he’s only had 2 singles wins in all of 2019, and they were against Ambrose this past fortnight.

At best - at best - McIntrye can expect a multi-man match along with the rest of Raw’s directionless midcard. Beyond that he’s the customary big name/man designed to entice people into the pre-show.

That said though, out of everyone on this least he’s the easiest to salvage. It wouldn’t take all that much to build a very quick, very exciting feud that could fit somewhere on the card. God knows this article is full of worthy workers who themselves need an opponent.
