At the time of writing there is nothing planned for the SmackDown Women's Championship at WrestleMania.

We know Baszler and Lynch will contest the Raw belt, but reports of Bayley's plans have fluctuated wildly from a 1v1 with Naomi, to it even being included in the Women's Battle Royal. We may get something announced on this week's SmackDown, but as it stands nothing has so much as been teased.

It's been a weird 12 months for The Boss. Rumour and counter-rumour swirled around her hiatus from the company following last year's WrestleMania, and her eventual comeback felt like a desperately needed shot in the arm for the women's division. However consecutive defeats to Becky Lynch immediately scuppered that momentum and she's since done little more than politely applaud Bayley.

Injury concerns have also played their part, with a reported feud with her on-again/off-again/on-again/off-again/on-again/off-again best friend shelved late last year. Whatever ever direction SmackDown's women go in, including Banks might be a tricky prospect at present.
