WWE - if there's an ounce of moral fibre to be found in the company - may afford Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose the night off following their harrowing recent real life experiences. Conversely, the pair may wish to throw themselves into work as a welcome distraction, not least considering how well-earned this decider has been thanks to some good violence and killer promos since the pair formally split at WrestleMania.

The ongoing global b*stard has helped get it to SummerSlam rather than any sort of storytelling elegance from the SmackDown gaffers, but the hair versus hair stipulation has added fantastic dramatic heft in the stakes. A week ago, the obvious answer would have been for Rose to get some conclusive closure over her former friend, but what a unique subversion if would be for WWE to add another layer to her blonde bombshell gimmick once that qualifier's been taken away.
