10 HUGE WWE Survivor Series 2021 Predictions You Need To Know

3. The Sins Of The Father

Rey Mysterio was unceremoniously booted off the Raw Survivor Series team with just days to go after being the second from his family tree to take a pasting from Bobby Lashley.

Dominik was right by his side as Austin Theory took the opportunistic selfie that ultimately got him a spot on the Raw team, but at what point does he finally think the literal carry job he offers his Father on the way to the ring is not being reciprocated?

By all accounts, this is an angle WWE want to do, and there have been some that have been predicting such an event for years. The very first time Dad sat on Son's shoulders, this looked like a moment the company couldn't wait to exploit.

Perhaps the Survivor Series will serve as the perfect place to kick this off ahead of WrestleMania season? Rey, keen to save himself and his kid from yet more beatings, could announce his intent to retire. Dominik could offer him one last pop from the crowd atop his larger frame.

One electric chair drop on the ramp later, and any 'Show Of Show' attendance concerns are immediately addressed. Or, the Night 1 midcard has a bit of spice anyway.
