10 Hypothetical WWE Signings (And Whether They'd Have Succeeded Or Failed)
1. Dragon Kid
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBUrHeYKbK8Dragon Kid is almost a carbon copy of Rey Mysterio in terms of size, attire and wrestling style. He’s a small yet unbelievably-agile wrestler who has made a career out of dazzling the audience with some of the most breathtaking aerial maneuvers ever seen.
Success or Failure in WWE: Success
If this guy was given the same kind of support that Rey Mysterio got during his first few years, WWE would’ve made tens of millions of dollars more in mask sales. After all, who doesn’t want to wear the mask of a high-flying superhero who thinks he’s a dragon?
Potential merchandise sales aside, Dragon Kid can execute maneuvers that few wrestlers, if any, are capable of doing. His short stature allows him to fly around the ring with incredible agility, and his training under Ultimo Dragon has gifted him with amazing technical skill.
He is known for being able to execute hurricanranas with multiple revolutions, a lot of his moves involve impressive moonsaults and flips, and he’s even known to run along the top rope before dropkicking someone.
If WWE were ever serious about drawing in multiple fan subsects, including those who love the high-flying style of lucha libre, then they would’ve struck gold by signing Dragon Kid.
The matches he would’ve had with the likes of Rey Mysterio and the other cruiserweights would’ve made WWE tons of money, and WWE would have consistent attention from those fans that love his wrestling style.
