10 Hysterical Times Wrestlers FORCED Each Other To Break Character

6. Sami Zayn Saves The Bloodline

The Bloodline Saga was growing dull and nonsensical before Sami Zayn was folded into the story.

Despite Jimmy Uso’s insistence that he wasn’t Roman’s bitch, unlike Jey*, eventually, the trio simply…formed. Roman was an overbearing pr*ck to the Usos, who did his bidding regardless, but as much as Jey looked sheepishly at the canvas, it wasn’t all that effective.

*Jimmy actually once said “I’m not a bitch, like my brother Jey”. The writing was atrocious. Roman, if he wasn’t the cousin of Jimmy and Jey and their work colleague for nearly a decade, should have been able to infer that Jimmy and Jey Uso were twin brothers. As twin brothers, they look rather a lot alike!

Sami changed everything. He was so over and endearing that his beaming joyous face was an especially upsetting portent of doom. How could Roman Reigns be so awful as to betray him?

Sami, with his coined phrase of “Ucey” - “That’s not very ucey of you…” - made every member of the Bloodline corpse at one point or another. This was crucial. The idea that Jey and Jimmy could express happiness and enjoy themselves were it not for Roman’s psychological torture actually made them sympathetic at long last.

Hysterical, yes - but also massively important.
