Andre had been such a lovable giant for so long, entertaining fans all over the world with his heart and good nature. Hulk Hogan was the iconic American good guy, the man that was loyal to his friend and his fans, always doing the right thing no matter what. There would never have been a reason for these two to touch. However, Bobby Heenan changed all that when got into Andre's ear and convinced the gentle giant to change his ways. When Andre turned heel, it shocked WWE fans of all ages and when he faced Hogan at WrestleMania, it was a night that no one would ever forget. It was the slam however, that stands out for so many fans. The man that never left his feet was hoisted up in front of 92 thousand strong and put down on his back.
