10 Most Improved WWE Wrestlers Of 2014

4. Tyson Kidd

The re-emergence of Tyson Kidd in 2014 has been one of the better stories of a deserving wrestling getting his due in WWE this year. Kidd has been a part of WWE since 2006 when he signed a developmental deal and in 2009 he made his main roster debut. After getting an initial tag team push as part of the Hart Dynasty team, he spent much of his career as the guy that fans could point to as a really talented midcarder that wasn't being used that much. In 2013, Kidd missed much of the year after major knee surgery and when he came back, WWE didn't really use him right away. He became a regular on NXT as a veteran guy that was trying to find his place again. His main story was that he was going after the NXT Title, but he was unable to win. After failing to get it time after time, he turned heel. That heel persona has really elevated him because he's standing out as this guy that tries to overshadow his wife Natalya (fans chant "Nattie's husband" to upset him) and it's making people hate him for being a jerk. It seems like every week Kidd is featured more and more on Raw, Smackdown and Main Event. There have been weeks where he wrestled on all four major shows (those three plus NXT), which is a sign that WWE management must really love this guy. They should because he's extremely talented and proving that even veteran performers can be booked like newcomers if they are used in a way that best enhances their talent. Kidd is on his way to being one of the best midcard heels in WWE. It wouldn't be a shock to see him holding some gold in 2015. He deserves it after his amazing performance in 2014.
