The best match of their lengthy series of singles and tags and a contest well-suited to the strength and conditioning of the defending champions, Cesaro and Sheamus and The Hardy Boyz almost stole the show with their action-packed 30 minute clash.

With falls bookending the clash after sneaky pins for the heels in the opening and closing minutes of the match, the contest was forced into top gear from the off. Sheamus and Cesaro went 2-0 up after ten minutes with a double-team White Noise, forcing Matt and Jeff to employ some quick double teams in an effort to pull back the deficit.

Their panic then became a further undoing, with the challengers losing a fall via countout after an over-zealous war with Cesaro on the arena floor. Squeezing in two falls with five minutes remaining, the challengers' last gasp attempts at stealing a late winner were riveting before Jeff's Swanton Bomb to the 'Celtic Warrior' ultimately cost his team. As the actual legal man, Cesaro burst in to steal one last pin on Jeff that would ultimately score satisfyingly definitive victory for the duo.

Accidental blood strewn across Matt Hardy's dejected face added additional drama late on, and allowed him to gently morph back into his 'Broken' persona for another enjoyable tease of the eventual rebirth of the gimmick.
