10 Impulse Reactions Following WWE Great Balls Of Fire

5. The New Boss

It was gripping to see Sasha Banks back amongst the chasing pack in the Women's division after what's felt like an eternity scraping the barrel as a babyface underneath Bayley's reign of error with the title.

Particularly riveting was the natural chemistry 'The Boss' and champion Alexa Bliss had from the off amongst web chatter that the two legitimately don't like one another. It's of course fun speculation that would contribute little to a contest in which the pair are expected to guard each other's lives with their own, but there were moments of superb fire between the NXT graduates before Bliss bailed on the match to save her title.

As she'd done once before during her tenure as SmackDown Live! Women's Champion, Alexa used her bizarre joint manipulation again to take charge on Banks, but the spot felt like a wasted opportunity to build heat on a legitimate injury instead of a cheap fakeout.

Their collective vigour was relied upon to deliver a more satisfactory conclusion following the countout. Sasha flew from the announce table with a wicked double knee attack on Bliss, busting her open and leaving more miles for the feud to travel.
