10 Incredible Death Defying WWE Leaps

4. Kurt Angle Moonsault And Chris Benoit Headbutt In The Same Cage Match On Raw June 6, 2001

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9qDSx8OUnA There are not many of these moments that take place within the same match, but when there are we have to acknowledge them. It was a steel cage match that took place on Raw at a time when these two wrestled each other a lot. Angle had Benoit down at one point, so he went to climb the cage. At least that's what we thought. Instead, he climbed to the top of the cage and with his back to the ring he jumped off with an impressive moonsault. Benoit moved. Angle bounced off the apron due to the impact of the bump. It was crazy. Later in the match, Benoit dominated the action and destroyed Angle with a series of German Suplexes. He wanted to climb out of the cage to win the match, but Steve Austin was outside the ring with a steel chair. Benoit turned back to Angle and nailed him with a flying headbutt off the top of the cage. Also crazy. What move was crazier? You decide. Both guys suffered from major neck injuries in their careers with Benoit undergoing neck surgery that kept him out for a year and Angle had one too although he didn't miss as much action.
