10 Incredible Death Defying WWE Leaps

5. Jeff Hardy's Swanton Bomb Off A Ladder At WrestleMania 2000 (16)

WWE.comWWE.comDuring the triangle ladder match at WrestleMania 2000 between the Hardy Boys, Edge & Christian and Dudley Boys, there were tables that were brought into the match. That led to a spectacular moment that was one of the most replayed clips in WWE history. With Bubba Ray Dudley laid out on a table in the aisle, Jeff Hardy ascended a ladder that was probably 15 feet high. In wrestling they like to embellish things like the height of a ladder, but when you watch it you can tell that it was about that high. What made it such a great shot that WWE replayed all the time was the angle they shot it from. It was filmed from the ground right by where Dudley was, so when Hardy jumped it looked as though he was leaping into our television screen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cs_S4wIylWY The reaction to the move was ridiculous because at the time we hadn't seen anything like that before. Did he really do something like that? It's that kind of thing that makes Hardy such a special performer. He did something similar during a Tables Match earlier that year at the Royal Rumble, but this one just looks better.
