There is no doubting Roman Reigns’ dominance at the top of the WWE card for the past several years, and there’s probably no better proof than the record he tied and broke during WrestleMania 40.

Reigns surpassed a 31-year-old record this past weekend when he main-evented both nights of WrestleMania, giving him nine Mania main event matches and eclipsing Hulk Hogan’s mark of eight, which he set by closing out eight of the first nine Manias, with WrestleMania IV being the lone exception.

The Tribal Chief most likely will be taking time off after losing the title Sunday night, but if he returns for WrestleMania 41, odds are very good that he will pad his record.

As a side note, Roman also tied a Hogan record by posting his fifth consecutive WrestleMania main event match (Hogan finished WrestleManias 5-9).
