In any other month, this fight would be far higher up the list. However, the quality of fights happening in January is so high that the featherweight match-up between Andre Fili and Sodiq Yusuff lands at number eight. That doesn't mean this battle isn't going to be exciting though, as both men are offense focused fighters.

Fili and Yusuff have one striking similarity in that they're both extremely quick. That means it's going to be very interesting to see who has the faster hands when they exchange. In his three fights inside the UFC, Yusuff has proven that he's an explosive character, launching his fists into opponent's face like a missile hitting it's target. While it hasn't been seen as much inside the Octagon, the Nigerian is also a very good grappler, so if the fight hits the mat, fans could be pleasantly surprised at how good he is.

Fili, however, is definitely going to be his toughest fight yet, especially as the Team Alpha Male product has looked brilliant in his last two fights. His most recent bout, an entertaining tear-up against against talented Muay Thai specialist, Sheymon Moraes, showed that Fili had massively improved in his striking. A win would catapult either man into the top-10 at featherweight, so the stakes are high for both fighters.
