4. Randy Orton (vs. Daniel Bryan - SummerSlam 2013)
In similar fashion to the previous entry, fans were left deflated by what transpired at SummerSlam 2013. Daniel Bryan's rise to the top of the card had been permeated by suggestions from the likes of Triple H and even Michael Cole that he wasn't WWE franchise material. Regardless, he was set to face John Cena for the WWE Title at SummerSlam. Triple H was the Special Guest Referee for the match, and promised to call things right down the middle. As it turned out, he would, at least until the initial match was over. Fans were give false hope when Bryan defeated Cena cleanly, and there was hope that finally the promotion were ready to accept how over Daniel was with the audience. It wasn't to be. Suddenly, Randy Orton appeared to ruin the celebrations. Triple H then nailed Bryan with a Pedigree, and Orton cashed in his Money In The Bank briefcase. Embracing one another, 'The Game' and Orton had conspired to ruin Bryan's party. In the process, they also left fans feeling let down. Thankfully, Bryan was eventually given his big title winning moment at WrestleMania XXX, and not before time.
