He may not be the biggest star on this list, but damn it our number one pick to face CM Punk is the Prodigy himself Michal Bennett. Why? Because never has a feud had so much of the work done beforehand! The fiancee of Punk's ex girlfriend Maria Kanellis, Bennett plays a Superstar character who favors entertainment over wrestling, making him one of the most hated men in ROH. What a contrast it would be to see the man whose bitterness and unhappiness led to him leaving WWE, go up against a man who clearly wants in it. If Punk wanted to endear himself to the notorious ROH fans who may have turned against him, it should be as a wrestler who is sick and tired of entertainment. And of course there's Maria. One of Punks' many ex girlfriends in wrestling, Maria may not be the most popular, but she's arguably the hottest. ROH fans have been chanting "CM Punk" at the former Diva ever since she debuted and Bennett has brilliantly used this to get himself more heat. Those t-shirts he wore last year claiming that he was "better than the best in the world" were aimed at only one man. That man could very well be on his way back to ROH and if they do face each other, you can bet Michael Bennett will come out of that match just as big a star as everyone else on this list.
