10 Infamous WWE Conspiracy Theories

9. There Were Two Ultimate Warriors

The late Ultimate Warrior was one of the most recognizable stars of the late 80's until his abrupt absence from television in 1991. He had beaten Hulk Hogan for the Heavyweight Championship just a year earlier at Wrestlemania VI, and was set to be the biggest star for years to come. Why would he be taken off of TV so abruptly?

Fans were shocked at his return at Wrestlemania VIII, when he stormed down the aisle to assist his friend, and former opponent Hulk Hogan. Something was different though, this man was somewhat less muscular and had much shorter hair.

This was not The Warrior that everybody remembered. It must be a different person! Yes, that's it! The real Warrior must have died, and Vince McMahon, brought in another look-a-like to cash in on the Warrior name, and the fans would never know the difference.

The truth about this one though actually all comes down to money. The Warrior tried to strong arm Vince McMahon out of more money after Wrestlemania VI and threatened to no-show events unless his demands were met. Vince caved initially, but then released him once the events Warrior was promoted for were over. The change in look? Well, that had to do with the ongoing steroid scandal, and a poorly executed hair cut.
