10 Infamous WWE Elimination Chamber Moments
6. Roman Buries Strowman
Over the years, WWE have done everything in their power to completely flatten out Braun Strowman.
From his multiple losses to Brock Lesnar to his tag team with Nicholas, The Monster Among Men is not the ruthless killer he once was and his time in the main event looks like it has sadly come to an end.
One of the biggest missteps in WWE's booking of Braun was when he was sacrificed to Roman Reigns at 2018's Elimination Chamber.
The men's match, which featured seven competitors rather than the usual six, was dominated by Strowman. He eliminated everybody - literally - including the likes of Seth Rollins, Finn Bálor, and John Cena. He looked like an absolute beast... until Roman came along.
Just like he had done at the previous year's Fastlane, Reigns overcame the odds and pinned Braun, destroying all the momentum he had just built up and relegating the former Wyatt Family member to a comedy tag team spot at that year's 'Mania.
This was before Roman's shocking leukemia announcement, so fans were still very hostile towards his mega push. Couple this with the fact that Braun was the most over he'd ever been and you get one disappointed Elimination Chamber crowd.
