10 Injuries That Shaped WWE History

9. Bray Wyatt

Years from now I pray that we are not looking back on Bray Wyatt as one of WWE’s biggest mistakes. The Eater of Worlds can’t seem to catch a break (no pun intended), and whether it’s creative or injuries, everything seems determined to stop him getting his chance.

Three months after debuting in NXT Wyatt suffered a torn pectoral muscle, the day of his match with Undertaker at WrestleMania 30 he injured his ankle and days after WrestleMania 32 - following a Wyatt Family face turn - he hurt his right calf, taking him out of action for another two months. Three separate injuries on three separate limbs.

Considering the way that WWE likes to book Wyatt – i.e., he apparently isn’t allowed to win big matches – maybe these injuries have caused no harm, but it’s hard to believe that. Three times now Wyatt has suffered at pivotal moments in his career. If even one of those had gone his way, who knows where the New Face of Fear would be now.

He might just have gobbled up a few more of these worlds he is always threatening.
