10 Insane Moves WWE Will Make To Save 2020

2. Bring Back CM Punk

WWE

...because he's not really back, is he?

CM Punk might have been at pains to say he was paid by Fox rather than WWE for his opinions on the product, but that product is WWE, and 'The Voice Of The Voiceless' is still required to sit along members of the roster past and present as he shares his thoughts.

He's half in. It behoves WWE more than ever before to find the money and the booking to complete the return.

It's that or nowt, too. The ship seems to have sailed on him working with All Elite Wrestling, at least for now anyway. From the outside, relations appeared relatively cordial between the two sides with ProWrestlingTees as the perfectly-placed mediators, but both Punk and AEW EVP Cody Rhodes weren't glowing about one another when alleged talks broke down. Punk's side-entrance return on Fox was another nail.

Never has there been a better time for the egos and dollars at play to coalesce without too much forced compromise.
