3. Hiring Gail Kim
Everyone knows that Vince McMahon is slow to get on board with the latest internet fads, but if he could be forgiven for his ignorance of Daniel Bryan-Mania, it's kind of amazing that he didn't know Asian porn was a thing.
That's what JR tells us anyway. The Raw announcer explained a couple of years ago that, during his attempts to get Gail Kim a WWE contract, the chairman of the board was initially reluctant to hire her on the basis that she might not be seen as attractive as the rest of his cast of divas.
JR only managed to persuade him to give her a chance after telling him that - stop the press - there were, in fact, Asian-exclusive adult websites that were allegedly (so a friend of JR's had told him) very popular in the West.
Vince was immediately sold, apparently, which makes you wonder how many more times he has looked to porn for inspiration on how to run his wrestling empire.
