5. Bloody Sunday On Kevin Owens
Since Finn Balor was returning to the country were he had become the big star that he is, it would only make sense for him to throw back to those former days. Those Japanese fans that knew him as Prince Devitt were treated to some finishers that the American audience doesn't know as much about.
Near the end of the match, Balor busted out his Bloody Sunday maneuver to try to put away Kevin Owens. The crowd noticeably popped as Michael Cole seemed to debate whether he wanted to call the move by it's previous name or not. Here are Cole's exact words that he used to call it...
"Kevin Owens in the... He's done for! Owens is done for!"
Considering how many historical references that the announce team were using, it was surprising that they seemed to draw a line at this one instance. Maybe the term "Bloody Sunday" itself is too taboo for a PG audience?
