10 Issues WWE Needs To Address In 2022

Lest WWE’s management structure turns into an HBO drama, the plan for the future needs ironing out as soon as possible. He may be a genetic jackhammer, but Vince McMahon isn’t going to be in his role forever, and there can be few multi-billion dollar corporations whose direction has been so thoroughly determined by one man.

Accordingly, once Vince retires (or, more likely, is retired by the cruel facts of mortality), things are going to change dramatically. He’s had a despotic grip on this company for close to four decades; whoever’s next will have big, weird shoes to fill.

For a while it seemed the heir apparent was Triple H but, like Kendall Roy, The Game has fallen from favour, his black and gold baby snatched from his hands and his power diminished. Nick Khan, meanwhile, has gained prominence of late, but is he the man to lead WWE in the years to come?

In any other company, you’d assume there was a firm plan in place, but with the mercurial ways of Vince McMahon, it’s anyone’s guess.
