10 John Cena Matches We Still Need To See

3. Vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

I wouldn't expect Tanahashi to turn up in World Wrestling Entertainment any time soon, but then many figured Shinsuke Nakamura wouldn't make the jump either. Nakamura did just that earlier this year, and is still undefeated as the current reigning and defending NXT Champion. Nakamura has been a revelation in WWE to date, showing the world that charisma is universal.

Many believe that Nakamura continues to go undefeated in order to make his inevitable clash with Cena on the main roster that much bigger, but this is a belief that one would describe as being ridiculous. This is the old school 'fed to Cena' brigade, a school of thought that has been obsolete for years now.

Nakamura vs. Cena would be a true occasion, an all-time dream match to say the least. It would be fascinating to see Cena adjust to the match too, as Nakamura brings something completely different to the table. Cena has little to no experience of strong style, and whilst WWE strong style isn't exactly Katsuyori Shibata headbutting you it is still world's away from Dean Ambrose punches.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
