8. Match With Most Former World Champions (11 - 2014)
The Royal Rumble match always has a mixture of current stars, jobbers, tag teams, and past stars. As more and more Royal Rumble matches take place, the odds of having a lot of past world champions will increase. Obviously in the early days of the Rumble, the title didn't change hands as much so there weren't many past champions. From the Attitude Era on, that has changed a lot, and the possibility of more past world champions in the match increases. Last year's Royal Rumble broke the record for the number of past world champions with 11. Those wrestlers were: Diesel, Kane, JBL, Rey Mysterio, Batista, The Great Khali, Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, and The Miz. Of those 11, we can only expect four of those guys for sure, so it would be a safe bet that the 2015 Royal Rumble will not break this mark due to a lot of these people no longer being associated or currently active with the WWE.
