10 Key Numbers From The 2015 WWE Royal Rumble

4. There Was A 3-Way Tie For Most Eliminations (6 - Bray Wyatt, Rusev, Roman Reigns)

Last year in the Royal Rumble match, Roman Reigns set the world on fire and broke Kane's 13-year old record with 12 eliminations. This year's winner for most eliminations was only half that. The main reason for this was because there was a 3-way tie between Bray Wyatt, Rusev, and Roman Reigns, and also the Big Show and Kane teamed up for four eliminations as well. The eliminations were more split up, and there was no El Torito or JBL who was struggling to get his cufflinks off. In the beginning of the Royal Rumble match, you would have though Bray Wyatt was gunning for Roman Reigns' record as he started off on fire with having the 3rd-7th eliminations, along with the unpopular 11th elimination of Daniel Bryan. Rusev didn't get an elimination in his debut last year, but as you could imagine he was very dominant after nearly a year on the main roster. Finally, Roman Reigns followed up his record breaking year by being the first man to lead Rumble eliminations two straight years since Stone Cold Steve Austin did in 1998 and 1999.
