2. CM Punk
So now we enter the true fantasy area. CM Punk is done, done, done with professional wrestling and won't be returning to the squared circle any time soon. A couple of months back I looked at a number of Punk matches we are going to miss out on because of this, and this is another one to add to that list. This match could very well have already happened had Angle stayed with WWE for as little more as a year extra. Angle was going to be the face of the newly-rebooted ECW, a brand that Punk would soon make his debut for. Of course, the Punk then wasn't the CM Punk that would go on to hold the WWE Championship for 434 days. Seeing Angle and Punk go at it at the peak of their careers would have left a match that would live long in the memory. Punk has never been one to mince his words with a microphone in hand, and the promos leading up to the match could lead to some fireworks. As it is, we are more likely to see Kurt Angle and CM Punk do battle inside an octagon.
