10 Kurt Angle WWE Matches We Must See

1. Daniel Bryan

I don't care what anyone says, this is the Kurt Angle dream match left in WWE. It is also one of those least likely to happen due to Bryan's status on the shelf, but such columns are for dreaming and dreaming I shall do. In some ways, Daniel Bryan is the younger, scrappier, everyday man's version of Kurt Angle. They can both tie you up in a variety of different knots from a variety of different positions, but whilst Angle would likely talk smack to you the entire time Bryan would be more likely to be a little embarrassed by it all. Submissions out of nowhere, suplexes from all angles and high-intensity offence, all bundled together in a package that screams integrity and credibility. Bryan and Angle are in that bracket of men that could have great matches with Pot Noodles, so put the two together in the ring and you get gourmet wrestling. Daniel Bryan vs. Kurt Angle is the sort of match that wrestling purists dream and froth about, and for good reason.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
