10 Lamest Wrestling Authority Figures

4. WWE Raw Constable Baron Corbin

Though currently too early to judge if Baron Corbin can make a success of this latest effort to rehabilitate him after a crushing burial by John Cena in 2017, the idea that the creative team could only throw a dart at the 'Authority Figure' section of their ideas board highlights how quickly the 'Lone Wolf' has fallen in the company's priorities.

A big man, Baron was destined to at least get one chance to get over, but his run with 'The Champ' last year ended in multiple embarrassments for a man nowhere near established enough with the audience to survive it. Like Erik Watts and others on this list, a lack of genuine respect from the audience already makes this a hard sell before WWE's clunky scriptwriting endeavours to make a further hash of things.

'Constable Corbin' is at least the type of alliteration that gets Vince McMahon out of bed in the morning, and if in any way the gimmick does actually spring him back to life, consider this premature criticism a majorly unexpected infraction.
