10 Lamest Wrestling Authority Figures

3. TNA Knockouts Vice President Brooke Hogan

Hulk Hogan's obscene abuse of Dixie Carter's bank balance during his tumultuous 2010-2013 tenure with TNA was bad enough to reintroduce the mainstream wrestling audience to The Nasty Boys, the Val Venis gimmick (if not the name itself) and Scott Hall's drinking problems, but not since a rather unsettling picture emerged of him applying suntan lotion to his daughter had Brooke gained such unwarranted backdoor exposure.

Installed as the Knockouts Division Vice President (as if the league had enough care and attention to justify multiple authority figures), Brooke was as wooden as her father's skin-tone in the role, stumbling over lines and once over the stage itself as she attempted to coyly exit the scene after booking a match.

Blatant and unfiltered nepotism was no new thing to professional wrestling by 2012, but it was disheartening to see the Knockouts Division - one of the few parts in the company not malfunctioning - twisted into a ditzy p*ssing contest to suit the 'leadership' of the woefully under-qualified second generation star.

Her status in TNA gradually improved - a move into a storyline relationship with Bully Ray helped craft the at-times excellent Aces & Eights storyline. Their eventual divorce following the dramatic reveal of Ray's deception signalled the end of her run.
