9. John Cena Returns

The last time John Cena was on WWE TV was WrestleMania, where he and girlfriend Nikki Bella defeated The Miz and Maryse in a mixed tag team match. After the match, Cena proposed marriage to Bella, she accepted, and the pair rode off into the sunset together.

Since then, John Cena's been working on outside projects. He's slated to come back to TV on July 4, but with Smackdown ratings getting lower and lower, reports have circulated that the company has reached out to Cena to return even sooner than expected. He could either make a brief comeback in order to set up a program for his full-time return, or he could simply put his other obligations on hold.

Neither of those seem particularly likely, especially not heading into Backlash. No matter how badly he's needed, Cena's not going to back out of a commitment, and bringing him back for an unadvertised show won't solve the whole ratings problem. Don't expect to see him before he's ready to wrestle full-time - but if you do, it won't be without at least a week of buildup.
