5. The Nakamura-Corbin Match Ends In A DQ
Though Shinsuke Nakamura came up short in his quest to capture the Money in the Bank briefcase, he's since been feuding with the man who did claim victory, Baron Corbin. It makes sense - after all, Corbin hamstrung Nakamura's chances of grabbing the briefcase at MITB by attacking him during his entrance.
Since then, "The King of Strong Style" and "The Lone Wolf" have been ambushing each other, and they'll face off in a match at Battleground. Corbin's briefcase and status as "Mr. Money in the Bank" will not be on the line, so it's anybody's guess as to how things will play out.
Despite the fact that a loss wouldn't jeopardize Corbin's upcoming title shot, it's a little hard to imagine him just getting pinned here. Since Corbin is tall, WWE seems invested in maintaining his momentum. Meanwhile, a loss would hurt Nakamura badly, as his use since coming up to the main roster has been so-so at best.
It seems fairly likely that the company will run with a disqualification finish here, then move both men on to different programs for SummerSlam. That way, nobody gets hurt and the battle can still take place.
