10 Last-Minute WWE Fastlane Rumors You Need To Know

6. Dean Ambrose Will Turn On Roman Reigns

Given that Brock Lesnar's appearances on WWE TV are few and far between, a major part of the buildup for Fastlane's main event has revolved around whether or not best friends Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose can trust each other. After all, both are in the bout, both want the same thing, and it's been heavily implied that either man would make an easier victory for his friend than "The Beast" would. Though Roman Reigns has been tempted by Paul Heyman to turn on Dean Ambrose, a more likely scenario would involve "The Lunatic Fringe" attempting to stab his best friend in the back. An argument can be made that Ambrose as a babyface has run its course, and a feud between the two former Shield allies could present an interesting WWE Championship program following WrestleMania. There's certainly a possibility that Ambrose will turn, but signs still point to no. He's legitimately popular in an age where few superstars get consistent reactions, and that's not worth throwing away for the sake of a cheap swerve, or even a title program. Plus, a babyface Ambrose makes a solid "understudy" for Reigns - in the event that the former WWE Champion gets hurt, Ambrose can fill in as the brand's top face until he or Cena returns.
